Horseshoe Bay Chalet and Pod are located on the beautiful Island of Kerrera, off the West Coast of Scotland. Kerrera is situated only 650m away from the mainland so is easily accessible by a short 5-minute ferry journey.

The ferry service operates from a slip at Gallanach Road, about 2 miles outside of Oban. Check out the Calmac website below for the timetable. In summer they run a very regular service every half hour, slightly less so in winter. There are no ferries between 12:30pm and 2pm and the last scheduled ferry is 6pm.

YOU CANNOT DRIVE YOUR CAR TO THE ISLAND. There is a policy of residents vehicles only on the island. All guests must park at the Kerrera ferry slip at Gallanach (its free to park). Once you arrive on Kerrera, we will come and pick you up in our vehicle and take you and your luggage to the accommodation. If you would like to walk it is a short 20 minute walk along the beautiful coast road.
