Horseshoe Bay Chalet
Situated on the small picturesque Isle of Kerrera, a short 5 minute ferry trip away from the seaside town of Oban, Horseshoe Bay chalet is a cosy and peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of mainland life.
Our chalet is the perfect place to relax, unwind and reconnect with the natural world. Enjoy taking time out in a peaceful and stunning setting free of any noise pollution, full of stunning views, beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife.
The chalet is set in its own private grounds on the edge of a historic sheltered bay, with a beautiful pebbly beach right on its doorstep.
Surrounded by stunning sea views and spectacular scenery, the large outside decking area is the perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine, beer, coffee, tea or just a good book. Regular visitors to the bay include seals, otters, white tailed eagles and the occasional dolphin, all of which can be observed from the deck.

Everyday needs
The fitted kitchen/dining and lounge area are open plan with spectacular views of the bay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay.
There is a hob/oven/grill, fridge with small freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. A full range of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided.
Stunning Sea views
The main bedroom has sea views and a gorgeous king size bed for your relaxation and comfort. The second bedroom has a rustic double bunk bed (double bed below and single top bunk).
The lounge area has a comfortable leather corner sofa and matching one piece sofa. There is a 40 inch TV and unlimited WIFI access. There is no mainstream TV but an Amazon firestick is provided with a multitude of apps.
The shower room has an electric shower, wash basin, toilet, and towel radiator. All bed linen and towels are provided. .
Amazing wildlife… Beautiful scenery
The chalet is perfect for families, couples, nature lovers and anyone who loves remoteness and extraordinary scenery. Spend your days walking, cycling, wild swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, bird watching or simply relax on the deck watching the tide and day ebb in and out. If your lucky you might spot our resident sea otter in the bay and the seals that have their colony a few hundred metres south of the bay, who pop in and out every so often.
